Soft whispers and crusty crisp bags shiver down the train spine; down the red carpet artery. A cough, a snapping pen scribbling crosswords on a thin newspaper leaf. Flolding and fidgeting, tearing and ripping. Folding another more meticulously placing it under her leg and the train whistles on

above the murmurs and soft snores.
